i. fall in love with me —
like the sun that rises in the morning
and kisses your cheek at 7am.
or the blanket that you clasp so tight
during the chilly hours of the day.
ii. fall in love with me —
like the children that play in the park
and drags you out of the bench
and begs you to play with them for hours
even if it means smearing your favourite shirt.
iii. fall in love with me —
like the sound of a heavy downpour
at the wee hours of the day that
will wake you up from the sound
but you’ll cherish every second that you hear
as the droplets fall from the heavens
because you find serendipity with it.
iv. fall in love with me —
like the sky that misses the stars
when the clock thumps seven in the evening
and the firmament goes pitch-dark
but the stars will spill over to brighten up
your starless hours.
v. fall in love with me —
in anyway that you can,
in every aspect that you want to,
because i swear to all the gods that
i have fallen for you
long before you asked me if i love you
and said the words, “I do.”
